Awning - Sun Canopy

Sun canopies have the advantage of quick erection - our Soplair sun canopy took under 10 minutes after a little practice - and are perfect in a hot climate.

At least these manufacturers, Soplair in France, van der Horn and Fortex in the Netherlands, make dedicated sun canopies for the Eriba Touring range.

Soplair

The pyramid shaped sun canopy is quick to erect and optional side panels can be purchased. Consider the purchase of one side panel for the rainy or windy side when the canopy is used during inclement weather.

The edges of the Soplair canopy are unsupported and tend to collect puddles of rain water - a solution to this is discussed in a project.

Steel tubular frame material is the only option, making this canopy quite heavy.

van der Horn

This Dutch manufacturer makes a range of three sun canopies for the Eriba Touring. All are of the open tent design, with removable side sections supplied as standard.

Out of the box, the van der Horn canopies are suitable for 3 seasons use, and erection time is about 20 minutes with practice.

Aluminium or fibre frame poles are available as an option.

Fortex - Aronde
